His contributions to the field also include a number of published articles and public presentations. A graduate of Boston University Law School, he practiced law for 20 years before becoming a document assembly consultant.

Valerie has managed several product lines at LexisNexis, in addition to other technology companies including WordPerfect and Jurisoft. Prior to her career shift to the technology sector, Valerie worked on Capitol Hill and at a national law firm in Washington, D.C.

Gary founded Two Step in 1995 following the sale of the international software company Pilot Software, Inc. where he was its General Counsel. Before Pilot, Mr. Levine was a corporate and securities attorney at Hutchins & Wheeler, prior to the 2003 merger with Nixon Peabody, and specialized in private equity and venture capital work. Mr. Levine graduated from Boston College Law School and the MIT Sloan School of Management with a concentration in Finance. He has authored numerous articles, is a frequent speaker on corporate governance and capitalization management, and is also the author of the popular blog Capitalization Matters.
